Through the Turf Shed - oil/panel - 5"x5" - sold
I stooped down to peer in through this old stone built pre-famine turf shed sitting above the Atlantic on cliffs near Bolas Head.
The contrasting light gleaming through from the reflective sea captured and excited me.
I felt in those moments while observing and painting I had found 'a very private beauty'.
